Recipe - Fragrant donuts with apple and curd cheese

Ingredients:

Use fresh incredients

Sour cream - 100 g

Yogurt - 100g

Curd cheese - 100 g

Apple - 1 piece

Egg - 1 piece

Sugar - 3 spoons

Sunflower oil - 2 spoons

Salt - 0.25 teaspoon

Cinnamon - 0.25 teaspoon

Vanilla essence - 1 package (you can also add grated lemon peel)

Sunflower oil - 500 ml (for frying)

Powdered sugar - 2 spoons (for decoration)

High-quality white flour – 200 g

Baking powder – 10 g 

 

 

Method of preparation:

Cooking time: 20 min

1. Peel then apple then grate it. Put in a bowl and add sour cream, yogurt and curd cheese.
2. Then add egg, sugar, oil, salt, cinnamon and vanilla essence – stir the mixture very well.
3. Add the flour and baking powder; stir it well, using a wire whisk.
4. You will get a liquid but a thicker dough.
5. Heat the oil in a frying pan first, then make sure to pour oil so as to cover donuts by half.
Use a spoon to put them in hot oil and fry them at medium heat.
6. Fry them on the other side too.
7. Lay them on some paper towel to absorb excess oil.
8. You will get about 20-25 donuts. You may serve them as you like – with yoghurt, sour cream, jam, honey, etc.
